Conceived and designed as an exceptional virtual embodiment of a Steinway CD 327 grand, Eighty Eight affords piano and keyboard players alike the opportunity to experience a truly world-class grand piano from the relative comfort and proximity of their digital audio workstation.
With so many on offer these days, it is great to have a name you can trust. This item is certainly that and will be a perfect buy. The distributor have added some great touches and this equals great value.

Not Worth It
This product is glitchy to say the least. Strange feedback tones, bad programming, takes up way more resources than comparable products. Top it off, probably the worst customer services I've ever experienced with a music product. There are too many other good piano products out there for similar or less money from places like 8dio (who is releasing a new piano signature library over the next year that is amazing), SoundIron, or even older piano software like Alecia's Keys. Save the money and the hassle.

Eight Eight Keys from Sonivox
I was looking for some good sampled piano sounds for my DAW and watched allot of videos on this product before I bought it both on Sonivox web site and YouTube. I couldn't pass up buying it at the price they were selling it for at the time. Looks like the price is much higher now.
Installation of the product on my Windows 7 system was great, no problems. Once installed, just entered the serial number and you are good to go.
The product comes both standalone and as a VST plugin for your DAW sequencer. I brought up the standalone package first and had problems getting clear sounds(they were all garbled). What I did is increased some of the buffer settings in the options settings in the program from 512 to 1024 and all the piano sounds in the package are nice and clear.
The only problem I have with this music software at this time is loading the sounds. The first time you load a piano sound, it loads OK. When you load a new 2nd or 3rd piano sound, it...
Steinway Grand Piano sound is here
My neighbor always ask me where I bought my Steinway. Lol, i have no Steinway in my home, but I have a $50 usb keyboard and this SONiVOX Eighty Eight Grand Piano Virtual Instrument, and the sound is just 100% Steinway Grand.
Steinway Grand Piano sound is here. This is the ONLY and the most affordable way that you can hear Steinway Grand sound in your home.
You know how much Steinway cost. lol. 100000000 times the price of this software.
So, just get a 100 bucks USB or MIDI keyboard, and this Sonivox Eighty Eight, you can have a $100K+ Steinway in your home. It's a steal, not a deal.
