Just What We Wanted
We absolutely love the piano bench. I only take 1 star off because it's a little too glossy, but besides that it's perfect. The piano bench my husband had for his childhood piano recently broke and I was nervous to replace it, but this one is almost a perfect match. Easy to put together, I did it myself within 10 minutes, and it arrived quickly. Even the hubby loves it and he's a difficult one to please.

Solid bench
After several of months of use, it's still very stable and the glossy finish is durable. This went together very easily. The hinge for the lid is tight and not prone to fall and smash little fingers pulling out music from the storage compartment. Fully open, it opens up 60 degrees. You have to deliberately push the lid down to close it, and it can lock in place if you open it all the way and push the hinge back. I wish the bottom of the storage tray was reinforced in the corners; it's made from 1/4" hardboard. It seems like this may blow out over time...however, no issues thus far. The not too expensive price makes it a good value. Recommend.
