One speaker didn't work...
I read all of the great reviews on this item and thought it was a no-brainer.
When I first opened the keyboard, the right speaker didn't work. I tried it out with headphones and found that the output was fine, it was just the speaker. So I flipped it over, took the back off to take a look.
One of the speaker's wires wasn't soldered onto the speaker. So I just soldered it on and it worked great.
I would like to state. Yes this item sounds great, can't wait to give it to my wife for Christmas. I gave it 3 stars because I think it's pretty crappy that something from Yamaha would be assembled so poorly.
Def buy if in the market, but if a speaker doesn't work, take a look at the innards.

great keyboard
suitable for begginners like me, for a very affordable prize....it didn't come with an AC adapter but it's fine, it shows all it's features. I'm very happy with it.
A solid beginner's key board
I have this keyboard and quite happy with it. I do not have any background in music and have never played any instrument before. Having said that, this is easy to use and quite intuitive. I was not intimidated by it and is quite motivated to do some structured learning. I recommend this low-cost keyboard for beginners who want to explore and discover their musical aptitude.
