Great keyboard!
YPG-635 and DGX-640 are pretty much the same model except some minor details.
It has a great action for a keyboard, as long as you don't expect Steinway or Boston. I'd say it's better than most beaten up old mechanical pianos that people might get for free or at the same price range on craigslist.
If you just want to play a regular piano like my 7-yrs old daughter, it's already nice with all advantages of the digital features: portability, volume control, you can use headphones (and you can play all night long without bothering anybody (well as long as you don't start singing along). Both of my kids can practice at the same time without bothering each other - what piece of mind! It has educational features. It will let you learn a few pieces that it already comes with or more if you buy and download them for $3-5 a piece from Yamaha web site.
